Is Tinting worth it?

If you read my last post about becoming confident in my face again to not wear makeup everyday, today I wanna discuss my experience with one side of make-up. The eyebrow side.
I took little steps into make-up, I started off dabbling in eyeliner, and then slowly made my way to eyeshadow, bit of foundation etc.
The one thing I never really dived into was my eyebrows, they never bothered me before. And then they were all I could see, or couldn’t see should I say.

I have fair hair and my eyebrows were just as faint, to the point where half way through my eyebrow they just faded into nothing. I started telling people I only had half my eyebrows, because that’s what it looked like.

One evening I found myself searching for an eyebrow pencil and it just went from there, suddenly the pencil wasn’t enough so I delved into the world of wonderbrow. The fear when you start changing something on your face suddenly is you don’t want it to be too noticeable that you’ve altered your appearance, but luckily for me, no one said a word.
My eyebrows got to the point where I was rarely without anything on them, anytime I did completely wash off any product I stared at my face questioning why I hadn’t done this before. For I knew I couldn’t go back to how my eyebrows were originally anymore.

I’d been researching microblading and tinting in awe at the results. And with a wedding coming up I took the plunge. I wanted it done at a brow specialist near me, but plans changed and on the plane to NZ I ended up booking a tint and shape at a beauticians.
The results were okay.. but not the best.

The tint faded very nicely for my eyebrow shape compared to the initial result, but the shape wasn’t exactly how I wanted and a little uneven. A month later they had faded and I booked in a HD brow treatment which included, threading, waxing, plucking and tinting. The tint from my previous one was still dominating over my original eyebrows however it was fading again at the ends, but it was more the shape I was lacking and despite how much it hurt, the result of having shape in your eyebrows again is fascinating, for they really do shape your face. As silly as that sounds.

I am now definitely a changed woman in the whole eyebrow department, the shaping should last over a month, although I was advised if my brows get bushy to go back for a wax, but my brows don’t know what bushy is. And being able to get up and not fuss over doing my brows Is a godsend. I would highly recommend anyone looking at tinting to go for it, take the plunge as I am now annoyed it’s taken me this long to do it.

Also if anyone knows any good brow fillers let me know!
